Thanksgiving v. Sabbath

Here's my two cents.

Disclaimer: I have always worked for organizations that are closed on Thanksgiving and the Friday after except for part-time work I did at a bookstore.

I also shop and eat out on Sundays sparingly.

So many people are commenting about stores opening on Thanksgiving. I'm not a big fan of it although I have enjoyed early Black Friday shopping in the past. However, to all the people complaining about stores opening on Thanksgiving, I wonder if they shop and eat out on Sundays.

Thanksgiving is a man-made holiday. Sabbath rest is a God-given commandment.

Thankful Thursday 11/06/14

1. A good but busy week. I may actually get to stay home tomorrow evening!
2. My piano teacher said I'm really learning a lot and doing very well. I just hope I can get the stuff we worked on tonight down for Sunday.
3. I finished a big publication at work that got sent out today. I really enjoyed putting it together.
4. I have a very comfortable bed that I can't wait to go to sleep in very soon!
