A Few Questions Following a Bible Study on Genesis 3

My Bible study group is in Genesis this year. These are some questions I and others had after looking at Genesis 3.

1. Was Eve surprised when an animal came to her and started talking?
2. What did the serpent look like?
3. Was Adam with Eve when the serpent talked to her and she took of the fruit?
4. In my discussion group the thought came up that Adam and Eve didn't ask God for forgiveness, but my question is How would they know about the concept of forgiveness to ask for it?
5. How long had Adam and Eve been in the garden when the serpent came to Eve?
6. Did all the animals talk before the Fall or was only the serpent capable of talk?

Any answers or other questions to add to the list?

Last weekend to be 4 _

What a great last weekend to be 4 __ ! Renae surprised me with a trip to Boyne Mountain. Friday evening, we did Avalanche Bay, rode the chairlift to the top of the mountain, ate, and then went to a bonfire and had a s'more. Saturday we were concerned about the rain so we drove into Boyne City to the farmer's market. We planned to drive around Lake Charlevoix to go to Petoskey, but there is a ferry we needed to take, but it was "temporarily out of service". We walked around downtown Petoskey for a bit and then returned to Boyne Mountain. We both crossed "ride a zip line" off our bucket list, did a wagon ride, rode the chairlift again, and the walked around Skitoberfest. Today we did a color tour horseback ride. Except for the occasional light rain, it was a perfect weekend. (Well the rain and the Braves loss.) The leaves were just gorgeous from the drive up, there, and the drive back.
