Playing went ok today. I was awake at 4:20 a.m. and didn't go back to sleep until the alarm went off at 6:00 and I hit the snooze. Rehearsal at 8:00 is always interesting. The worship leader is a professional musician as in full-time violinist with the GR Symphony. He's a very nice guy and very encouraging, but I'm intimidated by his music abilities.

So, it's a bit embarrassing when he tells me I'm adding an extra beat on a measure. : )

I practiced a few runs in one piece, but I really thought I'd not get them in during the service. I actually played both of them!
