Work stinks. Many people say that, but I mean it. Literally.
This morning when I stepped out of my car I was hit with the awful stench of chicken manure. I’m guessing a local farmer spread it quite liberally last evening. I immediately had a gag reflex.
Since work is in a farming community occasionally there will be a similar smell walking into the building, but today is the first day the smell has permeated the building as well.
I’m almost ready to go home from the stench.
Like I said, work stinks.

I remember once when we lived at the other house and the people at the huge farm on the main road liberally spread chicken manure on their fields for about two weeks. It was about too bad to ride home through. What an awful day.
