Pete Hoekstra, current congressional representative from West Michigan and ranking Republican member of the House Intelligence Committee, came to HMI today as part of his tour across Michigan today to announce his candidacy for governor. He was a marketing executive with HMI before he began his political career. I think he will be good for Michigan as governor.
I enjoyed being at his rally. Notice the HMI equa chairs in the background that are now sold at Costco.
