Yesterday I talked with a couple of board members regarding my water problem in the basement. One asked what was decided after I got water in the basement just after Christmas. Since the power had been out and there had been a huge rain with a 2 foot snow melt, the maintenance guy, board president, and I agreed that hopefully this was a one-time event and we’d wait before ripping off paneling, etc. to look for a crack.
The board member’s reply: “Well, since we had a big rain Thursday night, this is probably another one-time event.”
Isn’t another one-time event an oxymoron?
