Hoekstra on ABC

Holland, MI. February 3, 2010- ABC "World News" and "Nightline" will air stories on recent developments concerning the CIA Peru shootdown in which a missionary and her young daughter from Fruitport were killed. Among the topics expected to be covered are the decisions of the CIA Peru Shootdown Accountability Board. U.S. Rep. and candidate for Governor Pete Hoekstra, R-Mich., the top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, will be interviewed as part of the stories.

Prior to being elected as a U.S. Congressman, Hoekstra was the Vice President of Marketing at Herman Miller, a Fortune 500 Company. He also earned his MBA from the University of Michigan.

He has represented Michigan’s Second Congressional District since 1993 and launched his gubernatorial campaign in March. He currently serves as the top Republican and former Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and is a senior member of the House Committee on Education and Labor.
