The eye issue was contact related. I opened a new pair of contacts yesterday and apparently the right one is bad. I went ahead and opened another new right one this morning, and it is feeling fine. Now my contact inventory is uneven between left and right.
If that’s the worst thing that happens to me today, this week, or this month, I’m ok.
