Thick Skin

I had two funny comments made to me today. It’s a good thing I can just laugh about them.

1. When I was walking into the building at lunch a lady whom I have never met said, “How do you get into that little car???” Multiple things went through my head such as “Why? Do you think I’m that big?” or “I just oil up when I get in so I can pop right out?” etc.
I just said, “It’s actually deceptive and there’s quite a bit of room.”

2. When painting my bowl today a co-worker I was painting with said, “Oh, that’s (slight pause) colorful.”
