Today is definitely a snow day. Go to bed wanting and expecting that early morning phone call—No school today. That has never happened at Herman Miller. So I got up about 6:15, left my house at 7:05 and arrived at work just before 7:30.
It is snowing hard, blowing hard, and whipping around hard. Surprisingly driving was ok although it scares me when I’m passing drivers on a morning like this. I was doing about 35 and one car was holding up an entire line of cars going about 15. I’d still be trying to get to work if I’d stayed in that line.
We are getting 1-2” every hour and it’s expected to continue until mid to late afternoon. We should get over 13”.
So much for Christmas shopping at lunchtime today when the store I want to go to has everything 50% off.
